The Mumbai Police have officially filed an FIR against a labor contractor and a developer following the tragic death of a 23-year-old worker at a construction site in Vikhroli. His father, Sunil Karmakar, who was working on the ground floor at the time, was alerted by the frantic screams of his colleagues. Sunil and his colleagues immediately rushed Bijoy to Dr. Ambedkar Hospital in Tagore Nagar. Doctors at this local hospital provided initial treatment, but given the severity of Bijoy’s injuries, directed the family to rush him to Sion Hospital. Tragically, Bijoy was declared dead while undergoing treatment at Sion Hospital.
