Reflecting on the Journey
Our 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, the grand festival of democracy, has reached its culmination. This momentous occasion marks the first elections in the Amrit Kaal, a period of rejuvenation and growth for our beloved Bharat. After a three-day spiritual journey in Kanniyakumari, we find ourselves overwhelmed by a surge of emotions and reflections. Starting our campaign in Meerut, the land of the First War of Independence, we traversed the entire nation, meeting the diverse and vibrant populace of Bharat.
In our travels, we witnessed the fervor and enthusiasm of countless citizens, each face reflecting hope and determination. The blessings from Nari Shakti, the immense trust and affection we received, have been deeply humbling. These experiences, coupled with the serene meditative state induced by the land of Kanniyakumari, have given us a profound sense of detachment and clarity. The inspiration drawn from Swami Vivekananda and the sanctity of Kanniyakumari has enriched our spirit, reminding us of the timeless unity and oneness embedded in the universe.
Kanniyakumari: A Symbol of Unity and Confluence
Kanniyakumari holds a special place in our hearts, symbolizing the unity and confluence of diverse ideologies and cultures. The Vivekananda Rock Memorial stands as a testament to this unity, envisioned and built under the leadership of Shri Eknath Ranade Ji. Our memories of traveling with Eknath Ji during the memorial’s construction and spending time in Kanniyakumari are cherished deeply.
From Kashmir to Kanniyakumari, the identity of Bharat resonates in every citizen. This land, where Maa Shakti performed penance, embodies the confluence of sacred rivers and seas, and the convergence of national thoughts. The grand statue of Saint Thiruvalluvar, overlooking the vast expanse of Maa Bharti, inspires us with his work, Thirukkural, a jewel of the Tamil language. This land’s ideological confluence fuels our national aspirations, reaffirming Bharat’s unity and resilience.
Swami Vivekananda’s words, “Every nation has a message to deliver, a mission to fulfil, a destiny to reach,” echo in our minds. Bharat, with its rich heritage and profound sense of purpose, has always contributed selflessly to the world. Our freedom movement inspired many nations to seek independence, and our response to global challenges, like the Covid-19 pandemic, has provided hope and assistance to many. Bharat’s governance model, technological advancements, and inclusive development strategies are now exemplars for the world.
Charting the Path Forward
As we reflect on our journey, we are filled with pride and a sense of responsibility. The path ahead demands our unwavering dedication to new dreams, larger goals, and greater duties. We must see Bharat’s development in a global context, harnessing our internal capabilities to benefit the world. Our youthful nation stands at the cusp of a historic opportunity, with the world looking towards us with hope.
Our vision of reform, perform, and transform encapsulates the essence of our journey. Reform is the responsibility of leadership; performance is the duty of our bureaucracy; and transformation is achieved through the spirit of Jan Bhagidari. To realize a ‘Viksit Bharat,’ we must embrace excellence and work diligently in speed, scale, scope, and standards.
Embracing modernity while honoring our ancient values, we must redefine our heritage and reassess outdated beliefs. Freedom from negativity is the first step towards success, and our collective efforts will lay a strong foundation for future generations. Inspired by the infinite power of Bharat, we are committed to dedicating the next 25 years solely to the nation’s progress.
